1. What information is included in the Report?

At the time of generation, the Vehicle Health Report contains not only the vehicle data (vehicle identification number, mileage) but also certain statuses of the warning lamps in the instrument cluster (e.g. bulb defective) and information about the next service due.

2. Can I print out the Report?

Yes, you have the option of printing out any Report using the "Print" button.

3. Can I load the Report onto my own PC?

Yes, you can download any Report as a PDF.

4. Is it always only possible to view the latest Report?

No, all the prepared Reports are archived and retained for 24 months. The memory capacity is limited to 50 Vehicle health reports.

5. Most of the function groups are green but one function is displayed in yellow in the overall view. Why?

The status display in the overview always refers to all the function groups under a function. As soon as one function group reports back yellow or red, this affects the status of the overall function. This means that the start screen of the Report immediately indicates where faults could be located.

6. Do I have to follow the information in the header row and the recommendations in the message row?

This is merely a recommendation and not absolutely necessary. Please observe the specifications in the Owner's Manual. The direct display in the vehicle and the instructions in the manual are definitive. However, we recommend following the information and instructions, especially in the event of severe system faults, in order to prevent more serious damage to your vehicle. It should also be noted that you may place yourself and others in danger by ignoring any faults.

7. Does my vehicle continually transmit the current information?

No - the information is always only transmitted to the Car-Net portal shortly after the engine is switched off, provided that there is a mobile network connection at that time. If you do not start your vehicle five days later, for example, then the data will be five days old. It should also be noted that any damage or malfunctions in the vehicle that occur after the ignition is switched off will not be recorded. Unnoticed damage such as on the underbody may mean, for example, that engine oil may have leaked out after the ignition was switched off, although the Vehicle Health Report displays the accurate engine oil level.
